An exam room will be set up for you. You are encouraged and welcome to be with your pet as they pass. We will get you to sign a form authorizing the euthanasia and a doctor and technician will perform the procedure. The doctor may administer an injection to help make your pet more comfortable and an intravenous catheter will be placed in their leg.
The medication used for the euthanasia does not cause any discomfort and we will do our best to provide you a peaceful atmosphere. After the procedure is complete, you can take some time in the room with your family to say goodbye to your loved one privately.
