Mona and Gordie keep busy riding rodeos and Mona also shows horses on the Arabian Horse Circuit. In February 2018, Mona completed an item on her bucket list and competed in the Scottsdale Arabian Horse show - the largest horse show in North American.

Mona has 1 dog named Deuce - a working Border Collie who is just as skilled working cattle as he is playing with kids at horse shows. She has 2 house cats, Jack and Jigsaw - a former retired barn cat who one day gave notice she was ready to move into the house and never left. She also has: 2 spoiled rotten barn cats, Kimber and Spader; her show horse Rocky; 5 quarter horses that earn a living and long horn cattle.

Mona enjoys riding horses and spending time with all her critters (including Gordie).
