Registered Veterinary Technologist
Amy graduated from Lakeland College in Vermillion, Alberta in 2006 and is originally from the Edmonton area. She resides on a farm near Foam Lake with her husband and enjoys helping with the family cattle and grain operation. Amy joined the Companion Animal Hospital team in November 2010 and her favourite part about being an RVT is educating clients and helping students learn, as well as learning something new herself everyday.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys training and riding her horses: Zeke, Heidi, and Jett, and being outside with her Wolfhound mix Lurch and her Jack Russell Terrier, Rowdy. Amy also enjoys breeding and raising pasture pigs. Amy is often asked to assist with the family farm operations particularly as a grain cart operator.
